How to Run Go-Around Share
- Let the group know that everyone will be sharing their response to a question
- Provide the group with the prompt and write it somewhere everyone can see the entire time
- Let them know roughly how much time they have to respond and any details about what their response should include
- Start with a volunteer and then clearly indicate which order will be used to go around the room
- Continue until everyone has shared
Example & Prompt
The group has just finished watching a short documentary. For your Go-Around Share, you want to hear from everyone about one thing that stood out or one question they have from watching it.
“We’re going to go around the room and say one thought that came to mind while watching this, or one question you have that you’re still sitting with. Let’s start with Petra and move clockwise around the room.”
